Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry at Joy is committed to giving our ladies an opportunity to know one another better and to help develop their relationship with God. To reach these goals, we have small group home Bible studies. The topics we study include understanding God's character, developing Christian character with purposeful living and focusing on individual books of the Bible.

To get to know one another better, we periodically have activities for all the women in our church. In the Autumn of 2006, our activities began as we joined 200 women at the Delaware shore for a Ladies Retreat base on the theme "Transformation: A Change of Heart.", and continued with a Movie Night followed by a Biblical discussion and a Christmas Evergreen Wreath Making Party.

In addition to our organized activities, we also get together once a month in a local restaurant for an informal breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert night.
